It’s Kristy here, you may have seen me on the reception desk some Saturday mornings. When I’m not at Inspired Physio you can find me working with my clients as a personal trainer.
When meeting new clients I’m often told about injuries that may limit their ability to exercise. My role as a personal trainer is to refer these clients to a physio to treat and manage their injury.
Below are my tips for getting the most out of your training:
1. Go & get it treated ASAP
– Don’t let common injuries or daily niggles hold you back from getting the most out of your training.
– Dont be afraid to ask your physio questions and educate yourself about your injury
3. Get your trainer and your physio working together
– If you are seeing a trainer/coach whilst being treated ensure they have a detailed plan of your treatment so they can get the most out of their time with you.
